The Forum for Young Scholars of School of
Mechanics and Engineering Science @ SHU,promoted by the construction of
Science and Innovation Center in Shanghai and the Yangtze River Delta, will
provide exchange opportunities on the cutting-edge achievements and development
trends in the fields of mechanics and civil engineering, gather outstanding
scientists and engineers both at home and abroad , to motivate idea
collision and research cooperation.
论坛将邀请海内外优秀青年学者,于2024年11月8日(周五)采用线上线下结合模式,让参会学者充分交流,探讨最新研究动态,促进科研交流与合作,引进海内外优秀青年人才,推动力学学科和土木工程学科发展。本次会议由上海大学主办,力学与工程科学学院承办。
The forum will invite renowned young
scholars using online and offline conference on November 8th, 2024,
to exchange the latest research trends, promote interdisciplinary
collaboration, introduce outstanding young talents and and promote the
development of mechanics and civil engineering disciplines.

SHU boasts a complete range of
disciplines, covering Philosophy, Economics, Law, Education,Literature, History, Science,Engineering, Medicine,Management, Arts and Inter-disciplines. SHU presently has 101
undergraduate majors, 26 first-class disciplines doctor's degree conferring
programs, 9 doctor stations for inter-disciplines, 41 first-class disciplines
master's degree conferring programs, 1 second-class disciplines master's
conferring programs, , 2 doctor degree categories, 27 master degree categories
and 24 centers for post-doctoral studies.
02学院简介 Profile of SMES
力学与工程科学学院现有教职工140余名,包括正高44名、副高49名。学科拥有中科院院士1名,全国教学名师2名,国家自然科学基金创新研究群体1个,国家级高层次人才7名。
The school has more than 140 faculty
and staff members, including 44 professors, 49 associate professors. The
school possesses 1 senior academician of the Chinese Academy of
Sciences,2 national eminent teacher,
1 National Natural Science Foundation Innovation Research Group and 7
national high-level talents.
学院建有数个重要的教学科研平台。近年来,学院面向国家和上海市发展战略需求,聚焦学科前沿和重大工程,优化学科方向,形成了固体-流体-动力学-工程多分支共融、力学-土木-材料-能源多学科交叉的发展格局,在先进材料力学、复杂流动机理、工程结构振动与控制、能源工程力学、工程结构安全检测及非饱和土力学、工程结构减震抗震、环境岩土工程等领域形成特色。
The school
is composed of several teaching and research platforms.
According to the demand for the development strategy of China and Shanghai,
the school focuses on the frontier of the disciplines and projects. The school
optimizes the objectives of disciplines and promotes multi-disciplinary
development patterns, such as the integration of solid, fluid, dynamic
engineering and mechanics, civil engineering, materials and energy. In addition,
the school has formed its featuring aspects in various branches, such as
advanced mechanics of materials, complex flow mechanism, vibration and control
of engineering structures, energy engineering, engineering structure safety
detection , and environmental geotechnical engineering.

聚焦力学与土木工程领域的发展趋势,研讨学术前沿及工程关键科学问题。
The forum focuses on the development
trends of engineering mechanics and civil engineering fiel and discusses
frontiers and scientific issues in engineering.
力学分论坛主题包括但不限于:先进材料与结构的力学、多物理场智能力学,复杂流动、噪声与智能控制、结构振动与控制、力学工程应用等。
The
topics of the sub-forum, Mechanics, include but are not limited
to: advanced materials and structures mechanics, multi-physics smart mechanics,
complex flows, noise and intelligent control, structure vibration and
control, mechanical engineering applications, etc.
土木工程分论坛主题包括但不限于:工程结构减隔震技术与抗震韧性、结构振动控制与风工程、桥梁结构抗爆及其防护、地下空间开发及利用、非饱和土与环境岩土工程、智能建造技术等。
The topics of the sub-forum, Civil
Engineering, include but are not limited to: seismic isolation and resilience
of engineering structures, structural vibration control and wind engineering,
blast resistance and protection of bridge structures, underground space
development and utilization, unsaturated soil and environmental geotechnical
engineering, intelligent construction technology, etc.
04邀请对象 Target of Invitation
具有博士学位,并有连续2年及以上的海内外科研工作经历;海内外优秀博士后;在海内外高校、科研机构、企业研发机构有正式教学或科研职位的优秀青年学者,有志于加盟上海大学与学校共同发展。年龄原则上不超过40周岁。
Excellent young scholars who received
doctor’s degrees, boast two consecutive years of research experience or above;
excellent post-doctors (2-3 years of experience as post-doctors); excellent
young scholars with official teaching or research positions in universities,
scientific research institutions or enterprise research divisions, aspiring to
join Shanghai University and develop together.
Applicants under 40 are preferred.

Those who intend to attend the forum are
expected to send their CV (from bachelor's degree, attached with personal
photo) and report abstract to shusmeshr@oa.shu.edu.cn before October
30th, 2024 titled "Young Scholars Forum——SMES " on the e-mail.
2、学院对申请人进行资格审核后,于2024年11月1日前通过邮件向审核通过人员发送正式邀请。
After reviewing the qualifications of the
applicants, SMES will send official invitation letters to qualified applicants
before November 1th, 2024.
