Laboratory Introduction
Shuli Luo is an assistant professor in
Faculty of Humanities and Social Science at the Chinese University of Hong Kong
(Shenzhen). Shuli's research interests lie in the inter-disciplinary research
covering transport policy, geography, and data science. In particular, Shuli is
passionate about how burgeoning development of various urban big data along
with advanced techniques could reshape our understanding of urban environment.

Job Description
Applicants should have:
1. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
(e.g. GIS, Urban studies, Transportation, Environmental studies);
2. Strong research, analytical, and
problem-solving skills;
3. Excellent written and verbal
communication abilities in English and Chinese;
4. Proficiency with data analysis software
(e.g. ArcGIS, SPSS, R, Python);
5. Ability to work independently as well
as collaboratively;
6. Exceptional attention to detail and
organizational skills;
7. Candidates who demonstrate a strong
interest in pursuing an academic career in this region are preferred.
Job Duties include:
1. Project related research and
application;
2. Project coordination and other affairs;
3. Undertaking other duties assigned by
the supervisor.
Salary and Fringe Benefits
Salary will be comparable to international
standards, commensurate with experience and accomplishments. Appointments will
be made under the establishment of CUHK-Shenzhen, and employee benefits will be
provided according to the relevant labor laws of Mainland China as well as
CUHK-Shenzhen regulations.
